AusumTea teabags are crafted using 100% pure cotton, naturally bleached without the use of any chemicals. Enjoy a cup of Ausum as it is meant to be – real goodness of the blend and none of the lingering taste of chemicals or paper. Each AusumTea bag is sanitised using Ozone and then packed individually in pouches flushed with Nitrogen to retain the freshness of the blend. In pursuit of generating minimal waste, the teabags decompose and return to nature, from where they came.

AusumTea teabags are handcrafted by enterprising women who are striving to have a better livelihood by upskilling themselves. Each teabag is a tale of the person who has had a role to play in bringing a dash of Ausum to your cup.

Considered the elixir of teas, green tea needs no introduction. Enjoyed hot or cold, or even in powdered form, green tea is considered a superfood and hailed for its strong antioxidants and health benefits. Tea leaves harvested from the Camellia Sinensis plant are heated—by pan firing or steaming, and then dried to prevent too much oxidation to produce green tea. Legend has it Chinese Emperor Shen Nong was boiling water the leaves of the Camellia Sinensis plant fell into his pot. He liked the result so much that tea was born—all tea was green tea for centuries.

Our Destress and Relax blends are all about giving you dose of tranquility to escape the humdrum of the grind. Cherish the after effects of calm in a teacup.

Why is it good for you

  • Green tea is more than just a golden liquid. The bioactive compounds from the leaves that make it into the final drink are loaded with polyphenols that function as powerful antioxidants. With its low level of caffeine, it stimulates the increased brain activity and improves functions such as mood, concentration, reaction time and memory. Fat oxidation can show an increase when green tea is consumed, which is the cherry on top!

  • Sweet Lime sits square in the Citrus family. The dehydrated fruit chunks of Sweet Lime aids in digestion and flushing out toxins. It gives the immune system a boost while keeping your entire digestive track in good order.

  • Long known for its anti-inflammatory properties, Ginger acts as a natural preservative for the body. Teemed with antioxidants, it is a digestive and a stress reliever.

  • Starting on top with Lemongrass, you are assured of a Teatox! Part of every Chinese medicine, it is a wonderful herb for detoxing and cleansing. Keep close when battling a cold! Echinacea is a traditional healing herb of Native Americans. It is known to be packed with anti-inflammatory properties and stimulates the immune system. Known as the miracle herb, Seabuckthorn is widely used in cosmetics for its calming effect. Known to help you get your glow on, it helps you keep fighting fit inside out! Finally, topping Eastern Zing is that whiff of Spearmint. Menthol in mint staves off infection and helps the tummy settle down.
