Blend Type

Darjeeling First Flush derives its name from picking of the newest two leaves and a bud in early spring, between March and April. The early leaves are delicate, tender and have a light, astringent and floral flavours. First Flush teas are less oxidized than their counterparts and are exclusive in nature since they mark the first harvest in the Darjeeling region.

When can you drink this tea, you may ask? Since First Flush tea contains low caffeine, they can be enjoyed at any time of the day. Typically before a meal or an hour or two post a meal is ideal. How much tea can I drink, you may wonder? A few cups of tea is a great habit to form. Our blends are close to Zero Calorie so drink as frequently as you like guilt free!

  • Steep a teabag in a cup of water at 85-90 degrees Celsius for 3 minutes.
  • To achieve recommended temperature, allow just boiled water to cool for 1-2 minutes before steeping.
